You must take the first step. The first steps will take some effort, maybe pain. But after that, everything that has to be done is real-life movement.
Bad habits cause failure. Identify the habits holding you back and make a decision to crush them. The mentally tough mind is like a flourishing garden, and bad habits are the weeds that suffocate it. Watering the flowers without killing the weeds is an act of self-delusion.
A friend is one that knows you as you are, understands where you have been, accepts what you have become, and still, gently allows you to grow.
As some of you might know, I am attempting to do blogging 201, branding, growth, and traffic. The first assignment was posted today. Todays assignment is all about blogging. So why do I blog? I blog to reach out to others. I blog to put my words out there, to get them out in the open and out of my head. I blog to connect with other like minded people on wordpress. I blog because I love to write things down. If my blog exceeded my wildest dreams, it would look like this. I’d be reaching tons of other mental health sufferers and also a lot of survivors of abuse. I’d be helping to raise awareness, through my writing of the issues closest to my heart. I’d have a good number of followers, and lots of discussion going on the blog. I’d also have a few different features each week for my blog such as music Monday, healing with words on Tuesdays etc etc you get the gist. So now for todays assignment, its all about goals. I am going to list 3 goals for myself and my blog. And, I am going to try and achieve these in the not too distant future. So without further ado here they are.
Goal number 1-Publish at least once a day if not more for the next three months.
Goal number 2-Increase my followers by 20 percent by December 31st 2014.
Goal number 3-Create some new features on the blog, asking my readers what it is they’d want to have on the blog.
So there you have it, my 3 blogging goals!
