Weight loss success

I had my first weigh in yesterday. I was down four pounds! I’m so thrilled.
I cant believe I actually did it, I lost weight. All the hard work was worth it. I’m so proud of me.
My goals for this coming week are to drink extra water, two bottles a day if I can, and to exercise 5 out of 7 days. I dont have a food goal, as I’m doing great with my food intake and making healthier choices.
I was so nervous going in to Karen. I thought for sure something would go wrong. But I shouldnt underestimate myself. I did great and it was a great result.
Heres to another great week this week.

Getting fit, going to the gym!

So I joined the gym today as I posted this morning in my blog that I would do. I really had a fabulous work out. For a first work out, I thoroughly enjoyed it. I had the instructor helping me and he was awesome. I did 15 mins on the treadmill, 15 mins on the bike, and 5 mins on this machine that does your upper body, especially your shoulders. You sit on a seat and pedal with your arms, its a real test of endurance. I did really well the instructor said. I thought I was totally unfit but he said my level of fitness wasn’t too bad at all. That made me feel great. He advised me to start off by going 3 times a week. He said if I start off going 5 times I’ll get tired of it or lose my motivation and give up. So I am going to take his advice. I’m going again on Saturday at 3 in the afternoon. At first the manager was a bit iffy about whether I’d be ok on the machines and when I told her I would she said try it and see how you go but once I finished and we came downstairs again she was fine and she even gave me todays session for free. Free is always a bonus! I’ll take free! Lol. I’m so glad I did this and I am so proud of myself too. Heres to many more work outs and getting fit and healthy!

Exercise

I’m really very proud of me right now. I managed to do some exercise yesterday. I only managed 15 minutes, before my back really started to hurt. But 15 minutes is better than no minutes, right? When my back started hurting I was almost finished, and I pushed on, I kept going despite the pain. I hope I can do it again tomorrow. Its my plan to do so anyway. Keep going and keep trying.
